Abstract

A dynamic course design incorporates immersive, contextual multimedia material that fosters independent and collaborative student learning in a hyperconnected world.

  • In a world where content is abundant and student learners are nonlinear, teachers need to design course content that engages students in a way that is consistent with their world of hyper connectivity. Designing a dynamic course that incorporates interactive resources and live content provides students opportunities to engage, collaborate and apply concepts. There are a variety of ways by which we can record and transmit information. Concepts can be communicated through videos, graphics, animations, simulations and interactive exercises. In this presentation we will share multiple ways in which information can be presented to challenge critical thinking and encourage creative problem solving.
