Abstract


Introductory classes are the first, and sometimes the last, time to introduce an entire topic to a group of pupils. We, as instructors, must make that pivotal time count by providing an unforgettable experience with real-world applicability, creating learning objectives that help students understand the marketing discipline, and also enhance their skills as future professionals. This article details an innovative approach to incorporating blended learning and a course-long team project in a Principles of Marketing course. Results from two empirical studies support the effectiveness of this approach.
