NABET Call for Papers

41st Annual Meeting of NABET- a Peer Reviewed Conference

Dates:  November 1st & 2nd, 2018.  Location: Days Inn-State College, PA.

The Northeastern Association of Business, Economics and Technology invites papers for presentation at its 41st Annual Meeting. The meeting provides an opportunity to present your research and discuss a variety of current issues in Business, Economics and Information Technology. This is your chance to get involved with a dynamic, regional academic organization. To be considered for the program, please submit one of the following:

  1. An abstract (between 100 and 250 words), or
  2. A proposal for a workshop (e.g., innovative teaching techniques), or
  3. A proposal for a special session (e.g., economics of healthcare), or
  4. A proposal for a panel discussion or symposium.

 

Presentations at the Conference can be based on either completed papers, or work that is still in-process.

Completed papers that are submitted by September 30, 2018 will be eligible for the Best Paper Award.

Topics in the various disciplines of business (including sport management), economics and information technology qualify for the conference.

 

NABET is a politically non-partisan organization. Therefore, papers that primarily focus on political, religious, gender or other societal/political topics will be considered inappropriate for the NABET Conference.

 

Papers presented at the Annual Meeting will be eligible for publication in the Peer Reviewed Conference Proceedings.

 

Conference Submission Deadline: September 30, 2018

**Conference Fee Schedule (the following amounts are not proratable)

  • Special Discount Fee for Very Early Registration:  $160 (Must be received no later than June 30, 2018)
  • Early Registration: $180 (Must be received no later than October 10, 2018)
  • Regular Conference Fee: $225 (If received after October 10, 2018 – but must be received by October 15, 2018 in order to be included in the Conference Program)

NABET is also the publisher of a refereed journal (listed in Cabell’s) - the Journal of Business, Economics and Technology (formerly the Northeastern Journal of Business, Economics and Technology).  Publication in the Journal of Business, Economics and Technology (JBET) is possible after successful completion of a double-blind review process.  JBET is completely separate from the NABET Conference and the Conference Proceedings. Therefore submission to JBET requires a different submission process.
