Call for Papers - 2014 NABET Annual Meeting - Faculty

The Thirty-seventh Annual Meeting is October 23rd and 24th, 2014 at the Days Inn in State College, PA.

The Northeastern Association of Business, Economics and Technology invites papers for presentation at its Annual Meeting. The meeting provides an opportunity to present new research and discuss a variety of current issues in business, economics and IT. This is your chance to get involved with a dynamic, regional academic organization. To be considered for the program, please submit one of the following:

  1. A completed paper, or
  2. An abstract of approximately 100 – 200 words, or
  3. A proposal for a workshop (e.g., Innovative Teaching Techniques), or
  4. A proposal for a special session (e.g., Economics of Healthcare), or
  5. A proposal for a panel discussion or symposium.

Topics in the disciplines of business, economics and information technology qualify for the conference. Your submission may be a complete paper, or a work-in-process.

NABET is a politically non-partisan organization. Papers that primarily focus on political, religious, gender or other social/political topics will be considered inappropriate for the NABET Conference.

Papers presented at the meeting will be eligible for publication in the Conference Proceedings. Publication in The Journal of the Northeastern Association of Business, Economics and Technology JNABET is also possible after successful completion of a double-blind review process.

The Conference Proceedings will be peer-reviewed. This will not be the same process that is applied to submissions to JNABET which uses a double-blind review process.

Submission deadline for Abstracts: Extended to September 30th (electronic submissions, please)

Conference Fee: $200 (not proratable)
Early Registration: $160 (Must be received by NABET no later than September 30th)

Non-presenting attendees must complete the registration process including payment of the conference fee.

The conference fee includes five catered meals and the NABET social. Make your room reservation soon, as the Days Inn is a popular site and could sell out of available rooms.
