Abstract


While the Internet offers unprecedented information for female consumers and users, it also offers unparalleled opportunities for information abuse.  In an effort to regulate the Internet and make in safe, lawmakers have passed legislation regarding the usage of  e-mail to regulate spam.  Consumers have also tried to using filtering, anti-virus, and firewall software to avoid spam and security breaches.  Institutions have offered continuing education courses at affordable prices to education the public regarding safe Internet usage.  However, Internet breaches still remain at large for female Internet users. This presentation will explain the author’s research and findings regarding passwords and policies for female e-commerce Blogs.  All business educators, regardless of domain knowledge are encouraged to attend this presentation.
